Your family is important to us and we do everything we can to ensure our children’s environments are clean, safe, and secure so you, as parents, can have peace of mind. All of our volunteers go through a security process that includes a background check, an application process, as well as attending trainings to ensure they are familiar with our safety policies and procedures. We are excited to invest each week in your child and help them build relationships that point them to Christ!

Each week when you check-in, you and your child will receive a security tag to make drop-off and pick-up a safe and secure process.

On your first visit, you will be welcomed by our Greeters and Check-In team. They will walk you through each step, all the way to the location of your child’s classroom. Safety is a priority for us, so we will need you to fill out an information card on your first visit. If you would like to go ahead and print out the card, please click HERE. Just fill it out and bring it with you to the Southside Kids check-in desk to save time in the Registration process.

FAQs…

How early can I drop my child off?

The Southside Kids main doors open for drop-off 15 minutes prior to the first Worship Service, and 20 minutes prior to the second Worship Service to give our team time to prepare for an awesome Sunday morning with your kids! Children should not be dropped off in a room without a leader present.

What if my child has an allergy?

On your first visit to Southside Kids, you will fill out a registration form at the Check-In Desk. On the form, you can specify if your child has allergies or any other health concerns. This information will be printed on the child’s tag so their teacher will be aware of the allergy or other concerns. This information can be updated at any time by visiting the Check-In Desk.

What if my child needs me during the service?

When you register at the Check-In Desk, the cell phone number you provide will be printed on your child’s tag as their emergency number. If your child needs you during the service, we will contact you via text message at that number.

Is there a security system in place?

Yes. There are a number of safety and security measures in place to ensure a safe environment for all children. When you check in your child through our computer system each Sunday, you will receive a parent tag. Your child will also receive a tag that they will wear until pick-up. Along with other information, both tags have an identical code that auto-generates from week to week. When the service is over, you will present your parent tag in order to enter the children’s building to pick up your child. You will also turn in the tag to your child’s leader and they will match it with the corresponding code on your child’s tag in order to release the child. The leader will keep your tag and the child’s tag.

What if I lose my parent tag?

This sometimes happens. However, children will not be released without a tag. This is to ensure the safety of all children. If you have misplaced your tag and do not have a picture of your tag you can use in its place, please visit the Check-In Desk where a team member will verify your identity and escort you to your child’s classroom.  The Coach for that area or a Staff Member will have to approve the release of your child after your identity is verified.

What if my child has special needs?

Sometimes kids need an environment that is less stimulating and more one-on-one. At our Warner Robins campus, we have a wonderful Special Needs Ministry that is available for Elementary-aged kids during both services.
